The Office of the Labor Commissioner and the Nevada State Apprenticeship Council invite you to attend the Apprenticeship Week No Debt Career Fair. Discover hands-on career pathways that allow you to start working, earning, and building your future without taking on college debt. Apprenticeship opportunities are available across a wide range of industries — including construction and skilled trades, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more.
The event will also feature two informational disability awareness workshops at 10 am and 1 pm. The workshop will help employers and registered apprenticeship program officials grow their businesses by becoming ability-focused. Learn how to understand common misconceptions to help shift disability perceptions, develop strategies for inclusive communication and discover practical ways to implement reasonable accommodations.
