2017-2018 Prevailing Wage Construction Survey

I
would like to take this opportunity to encourage your participation in this
year’s Construction Wage Survey. The information you provide will
be used to determine the prevailing rates of wages for public works
construction projects for the 2017-18 time period.
As
you may know, Nevada law requires the Labor Commissioner to survey contractors
who have performed work in the past year to determine the prevailing wage
rates. Your participation is crucial to ensure that the rates published are
reflective of wages paid in your community.
The
survey can be submitted by regular mail delivery, walking in the forms, or by
email.
If
you elect to submit by regular mail or walking the forms in, feel free to make
additional copies of the survey form as needed. You can use Microsoft Word to
fill in the survey form, but a signed original must be included. The form must
be received in the Las Vegas or Carson City Office of the Labor Commissioner no
later than Monday, July 17, 2017, at 5:00 PM
If
you elect to submit the forms electronically, there is a specific form for
electronic filing on our website and it should be saved in PDF format. These
forms must be sent to PUBLICWORKS@LABORCOMMISSIONER.COM no later than July 10, 2017 at
5:00 PM, to allow for an initial review and email verification of receipt.
It
is not mandatory to complete the survey.
The
2017-18 Prevailing Wage Rates will be posted to our website on or before
October 1, 2017.
