I would like
to take this opportunity to encourage your participation in this year’s Construction
Wage Survey. The information you provide will be used to determine the Prevailing
Wage Rates on Public Works Project for 2018-2019.
As you may
know, Nevada law requires the Labor Commissioner to survey contractors who may have
performed work in the past year to determine the Prevailing Wage Rates by
October 1st of each year. Your participation is crucial to ensure
that the rates published are reflective of wages paid in your county and community.
The survey can
be submitted by online at labor.nv.gov, by regular mail delivery, delivery of
forms in person at our office, or by email.
If you elect
to submit by regular mail or delivery of forms in person at our office, feel
free to make additional copies of the survey form as needed. A signed original
must be included. The form must be received in the Las Vegas or Carson City
Office of the Labor Commissioner no later than July 16, 2018, at
5:00 PM
These
forms must be sent to PUBLICWORKS@LABOR.NV.GOV no
later than July 16, 2018 at 5:00 PM, to allow for an initial
review and email verification of receipt.
It
is not mandatory to complete the survey.
The 2018-2019
Prevailing Wage Rates will be posted to our website on or before October 1,
2018.
